A September 2015 Wedding

A September 2015 Wedding

September 12, 2015, my niece’s wedding celebration included a romantic interlude to the Chicago Botanic Garden for pictures. It was a beautiful sunny day and the wedding party took a shuttle from the hotel to get some scenic shots at one of the most incredible venues for portraits and pictures there is. I was blessed to be a part of their day, and had a memorable time.

The wedding itself was understated and elegant, in a room at the Chicago North Shore Renaissance hotel that had a wrap-around outside balcony. The ceremony was at 5:00 pm, and we took some pictures with Andi and Rachel’s friends outside as the sun began to set.

She carried a lovely large bouquet with very large stargazer lilies and trailing fragrant Hawaiian wedding flowers. The path down the aisle was strewn with rose petals and bouquets that were used later as centerpieces on the tables at the reception, which was held in the same room.

Her dress was street-length, her hair was tastefully done in an updo, although her hair is very long.
