Shutterfest was epic

Shutterfest was epic

Shutterfest took place during the last week of March this year, 2016. There were so many fantastic classes, so much to take away. Professional photographers were around to help with lighting and posing techniques and jumped into the fray.

Sal Cincotta himself was throwing a parachute dress for Michaela Gnagi.

And he wasn’t the only one that was joining in the festivities.

What is happening with Shutterfest is the building of a community of like-minded individuals. We are expanding our networks and having so much fun along the way. We are building our portfolios with work that we only dreamed of shooting.

My main focus this time around was my Tween Girls Empowerment Project and action shots using water treatments by Ben Shirk.

The image above was a part of the Twee Girls Empowerment Project, but I used one of Ben Shirk’s water dresses to complete the image.

Once again, I ran into the problem of over scheduling myself, trying to do too much in the time we had. I missed some things that I wanted to participate in, I didn’t alot myself any time to rest, to eat, or have a break, so I stole that time when I needed it.

Shutterfest is a blessing in so many ways. So many opportunities to learn so many things on so many levels and I’m so glad I attended again this year.
