There’s beauty in the dark

There’s beauty in the dark

I’ve been busy learning about high dynamic range (HDR) in photos and utilizing Macphun’s Intensify Pro and Aurora HDR. My Canon 5D Mark III has HDR bracketing, so I’ve been using those to create my HDR images. At the same time, I’ve been very intrigued by light and the light at sunrise and sunset. Now that it’s winter, and snow actually fell AFTER Christmas here this year, I’ve been trying to capture my locale with snow on the ground at beautifully lit times of the day.

By the same token, everything looks very different at night time, and I’ve been exploring ‘beauty in the dark’.
